Preparation of Silver Nano-triangular Prisms and Their SERS of IgG Protein

【摘要】:Ag nano-triangular prisms have has drawn a great deal of interests of investigators because of their unique optical properties which make the surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) enhancing, which make some large advantages in analysis of molecules, especially biomolecules. In the present study, Ag nano-triangular prisms were synthesized through synthetic route of single-beam excitation by simply adjusting solution pH. Shape and size effects of silver nano-triangular prisms on SERS properties were studied, and found that different-shaped and size Ag triangular prisms take on different SERS. Specially, the Ag nano-triangular prisms with a equilateral could enhance SERS sensitivity over 90-fold as compared with those from silver nano-spheres with about 40 nm in size. The highly strong SERS of silver triangular prisms were demonstrated from anti-IgG molecules in solution. The Ag nano-triangular prisms with high sensitivity of SERS will be combined optical fibre biosensor in our laboratory for structuring a novel optical fibre biosensor without biolabeling to detect some targeting molecules in vivo, bioassay, biodiagnosis, and even clinical diagnosis.
