Sr_XCd_(1-X)S solid solution as a novel photocatalyst for hydrogen production under visible light

【摘要】:正Photocatalytic hydrogen production using solar energy has been regarded as an attractive solution to effectively address the depletion of fossil fuels and the serious environmental problems accompanying their combustion.However,photocatalysts working efficiently under visible light and having reasonable stability are still limited.Active and stable visible-light-driven photocatalysts are therefore highly desired.Forming solid solution between wide and narrow band gap photocatalysts to control the band structures have been accepted as one effective way to obtain visible-light-driven photocatalyst.
