Merging Nickel Catalysis and Organic Photocatalysis in Photoinduced β-trifluoromethylation of β-chloro-carbonyl compounds via C–H Functionalization
【摘要】:Organic molecules containing trifluoromethyl groups have received considerable attention because of their wide applications in the fields of agrochemicals,material,and pharmaceuticals.~1 While earlier studies in this field focused on the construction of C(sp~2)–CF_3 and C(sp)–CF_3,recent attention has been turned to the investigation in C(sp~3)–CF_3 bond formation.~2 In some recent studies breakthroughs have also been made for the introduction of a CF_3 group and halogen into the same carbon.~3 This communication describes the development ofβ-trifluoromethylation ofβ-chloro-carbonyl compounds using a novel Nickel catalysis and organic photocatalysis dual catalytic system.The compatibility of these two catalysts is established for the first time and demonstrates the potential of this reaction as an useful method for construction of C(sp~3)–CF_3.
