The selective synthesis of phenol derivatives

【摘要】:Phenols motifs are widely found in natural products and pharmaceutics as well as common versatile synthons in organic synthesis. In 2014, we disclosed that the gold carbenes have an unprecedented chemo-and site-selectivity and ligand effect toward the C-H bond functionalization of phenol.~([1]) Moreover, this methodology is useful in organic synthesis, late-stage modification of natural products and design of domino reactions. ~([2]) Recently, we also realized the ortho-selective C-H functionalization of phenols~([3]) and and para-selective of unacitvated arenes. ~([4]) At last, the phenol synthesis via phosphine catalysis has also be finished by our group. ~([5])
