Decision Making for Wastewater Treatment Projects

【摘要】：The issue of making the decisions is essential at all phases of the projects related to the development and design of wastewater systems.It starts with the determination of the basic parameters of the planned plant e.g.characteristics of the wastewater,level of treatment,capacity of the plant and its location.Next,the issues appear related to the selection of treatment technologies and their combinations to create the process flowsheet.Finally,the assessment of the various technical aspects has to be performed in order to select an alternative acceptable from the point of view of many criteria,e.g.economic,technical,social and environmental.
