Upconversion luminescence of Tb~(3+) and Yb~(3+) co-doped hexagonal and monoclinic GdPO_4 nanophosphors
【摘要】:正Tb~(3+) and Yb~(3+) codoped hexagonal GdPO_4 nanorods have been prepared by a hydrothermal method at 220℃for 12 h and monocline GdPO_4 nanoparticles have been obtained by sintering the hydrothermal products at 900℃for 5 h.Green upconversion luminescence of Tb~(3+) has been observed when pumped by 980 nm diodes since efficiently cooperative energy transfer from codopant Yb~(3+).The luminescence of Tb~(3+) in both hexagonal and monocline GdPO_4 nanophosphors has been comparatively studied.The dependence of the upconversion luminescence intensity on pump laser power shows that two-phonon processes are involved in upconversion luminescence of the emission level ~5D_4 of Tb~(3+) is populated via two-photon process Upconversion luminescence emission intensity upon the concentration of Tb~(3+) and Yb~(3+) in Tb~(3+) and Yb~(3+) co-doped monoclinic GdPO_4 nanocrystals has also been investigated.
