Report of Pontoniine Shrimps (Crustacea: Decapoda) collected by the Joint Chinese-German Marine Biology Expeditions to Hainan Island, South China Sea.
【摘要】：正 Indo-West Pacific water is the main distribution area of shrimps of the subfamily Pontoniinae, where more than 60 of the 79 currently recognized pontoniine genera have been found. The rich pontoniine fauna of Hong Kong (23 species, Bruce, 1982, 1990), and the neighboring waters, Philippine-Indonesian region (120 species, Chace and Bruce, 1993), Singapore (28 species, Johnson, 1961, 1967; Bruce, 1979), show that the South China Sea is one of the world's areas richest in pontoniine shrimps.
