Notch signaling in lymphopoiesis
【摘要】：正As a widely utilized and evolutionarily conserved pathway, the Notch signaling plays a critical role in multiple developmental processes. The Notch receptor is a heterodimeric single-pass transmembrane protein that is cleaved within the trans - Golgi network during biosynthesis. The extracellular domain of Notch contains 29 - 36 EGF (epidermal growth factor) - like repeats and three cysteine - rich linl2/ Notch repeats. The intracellular domain is composed of a RAM (RBP - J - associating molecule) domain, 6 ankyrin/CDC10 repeats, nuclear localization sequences, and a C- terminal PEST sequence.
