ANCHORAGE OF EXTERNALLY BONDED FRP STRENGTHENING SYSTEMS

【摘要】：正Externally bonded fibre-reinforced polymer(FRP) plates can be used to strengthen reinforced concrete(RC) structures.The FRP can,however,debond at strains considerably lower than its strain capacity.Anchorage of the FRP is a logical means to delay or even prevent the occurrence of premature debonding failure.Several different anchorage devices have therefore been investigated to date by the research community.Anchors made from FRP which are known as FRP anchors,amoungst other names,are particularly suitable because they are non-metallic and can be applied to a wide range of FRP-strengthened structural elements.A large experimental program is being conducted at The University of Hong Kong(HKU) on the anchorage of externally bonded strengthening systems with FRP anchors.This paper provides an overview of the various metallic and non-metallic anchorage devices developed to date in addition to applications.An overview of research being conducted at HKU on FRP anchors is also provided.
