Use concept of translational medicine to guide pathophysiology teaching reform
【摘要】:Objective: Based on the thought of translational medicine, it's necessarily to combine basic medicine with clinical medicine in pathophysiology teaching.Methods: We chose the fiveyear period medical undergraduates, developed comprehensive case-based teaching(CCBT) in large class teaching, had Case-Problem Based Learning(CPBL) in small class teaching, and carried out comprehensive open experiments during the experiment teaching.Meanwhile, our pathophysiology teachers participated in clinical practice.Results: This teaching mode can further stimulate students' interest in study, enlighten their creative thought, enhance the initiative of students greatly and raise students' abilities to think and solve problems independently.It can also improve the teachers' knowledge level, and made this curriculum served as a bridge between basic medicine and clinical medicine.Conclusion: The reform of pathophysiology which was based on the thought of translational medicine will improve educational effect and it was worthy to apply in pathophysiology teaching further.
