Multipoint Optimal Minimum Entropy Deconvolution and Teager energy operator for the incipient fault diagnosis of planetary gearbox

【摘要】:As one of the most important part of transmission system,planetary devices has attracted an increasing attention in the past few years.Because of the complicate structure,the sun gear of planetary gearboxes easily got damaged to result catastrophic loss.Recently the incipient faults for planetary device has attracted many expert?s attention.To attract the weak faults for the sun gear,a novel method which combine Teager energy operator and multipoint optimal minimum entropy deconvolution is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the Teager energy operator(TEO) can enhance the faint transient impact composition in original signal.Second,previously processed signal is filtered by multipoint optima minimum entropy deconvolution(MOMED).This way ensures the separation of fault-induced shock signal and the noise signal,because the fault-induced shock signal is periodic signal.Thirdly,the signal filtered is enveloped by traditional transform,receiving the envelope spectrum.We can get clear information during the envelope spectrum.The simulation signal proved that the method can accurately identify the signal cycle.Meanwhile,the weak faults of the sun gear in planetary gearboxes can be diagnosed efficiently.
