On the Translation of Cultural Differences in the Advertisement
【摘要】:With the development of the world economy and tendency of integration of the international economy,advertisement plays a more and more important role in human life,and the importance of the translation of advertisement becomes more and more obvious in economic life.This paper analyses the cultural differences of advertisement between English and Chinese;from the perspectives of Skopostheory,the paper discusses two principles of translating advertisement,adaptability,information content,which can build a communication bridge between the practice of translating advertisement and theory of translating advertisement;then the paper introduces three translation strategies.-omission,amplification,variation.In order to achieve the aim of propagandizing product,accommodation device should be chosen in the translation of advertisement.
