Sub-barrier fusion of ~(32)S+~(90,96)Zr:Investigation for the role of neutron transfer in sub-barrier fusion reactions

【摘要】:正The fusion excitation functions were measured with high precision for ~(32)S + ~(90,96)Zr around the Coulomb barrier,and barrier distributions were extracted from the measured excitation functions.The sub-barrier cross sections for ~(32)S + ~(96)Zr are much larger compared with ~(32)S +~(90)Zr.Semi-classical coupled-channels calculations including the low-lying quadruple and octupole vibrations are capable to describe sub-barrier enhancement only for ~(32)S and ~(90)Zr.-The remaining disagreement for ~(32)S and ~(96)Zr comes from the positive Q-value intermediate neutron transfers in this system.A comparison with the data on ~(40)Ca + ~(90,96)Zr shows that the two systems ~(32)S,~(40)Ca + ~(90)Zr display similar barrier distributions.While the barrier distributions of ~(32)S,~(40)Ca + ~(96)Zr are both wider and flatter.The present results strongly indicate that neutron transfer plays an important role in the fusion processes.
