Growth and Characterization of Pb(Yb_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))O_3-Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_3-PbTiO_3 Ferroelectric Crystals
【摘要】：Relaxor ferroelectric single crystals Pb(Yb1/2Nb1/2)O3-Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 (PYMNT) with the dimension of 30×30×12 mm3 have been grown by top-seeded solution growth method that prevented phase segregation and promoted (001) growth, giving rise to crystals of quadrate morphology with large (001) faces. X-Ray diffraction implied the ternary system PYMNT(15/53/32) crystals have rhombohedral perovskite structure. Its electric properties have been characterized. The Curie temperature Tc reaches 205 ℃ , piezoelectric constant d33 was measured to be 1500 pC/N. The longitudinal electromechanical coupling factor k33 was found to be 90% at room temperature, coercive field Ec~7 kV/cm and remanent polarization Pr~27.8 μC/cm2 at room temperature, Pr and Ec do not decrease to zero at 250 ℃.
