Pores exited LuAG:Ce Ceramics:An efficient green color converter for laser light source

【摘要】:Recently,the emerging solid state laser light source has been considered as a promising substitute for conventional WLEDs,meanwhile it has a high requirement for the phosphors in both efficiency and thermal management,due to this,the high-thermal conductivity monolithic ceramic is a good choose.For meeting the unique demands of laser light source,here we fabricated the Lu_3Al_5O_(12):Ce ceramics-a superduper green color converter by conventional solid-state reaction methods,the sintering temperatures were adjusted to control the pore properties which caused different degrees of scattering,played a key role in optimizing the photoluminescence(PL) intensities.With the analysis of microstructure and PL spectra,we found that a higher luminous efficacy did observed in the case of a proper scattering.Under the blue laser(450nm) excitation,the optimized sample showed a high luminous efficiency(over 200lm/W) and high thermal stability,the sample's dynamic conversion efficiency which tested base on LARP system was 50.2%.
