Distinct light responses of adaxial and abaxial stomata in the intact leaf

【摘要】：正For the most amphistomatous leaves, stomata on the upper surface and those on the lower surface are in different light environments in terms of intensity as well as the wavelength composition. Although many in vitro studies with epidermal strips and / or guard cell protoplasts showed some differences between the adaxial and abaxial stomata, there were few studies illustrating differences in responses of these stomata to light environment in intact leaves.
