Synthesis and Electrochemical Properties of Lithium Vanadium Fluorophosphates, LiVPO_4F

【摘要】:正The electroactive lithium vanadium fluorophosphates,LiVPO4F has been synthesized by a two-step reaction scheme based on a carbothermal reduction(CTR)process. In the first CTR step, V2O5, (NH4)2HPO4 and C were reacted under an inert atmosphere to yield VPO4. In the second step , the CTR VPO4 was reacted with LiF to yield the LiVPO4F. The property of the LiVPO4F was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns, scanning electron microscopic (SEM) images and electrochemical measurement. XRD studies showed that LiVPO4F synthesized has triclinic structure(space group p1),isostructural with the naturally occurring mineral tavorite. LiFePO4.OH. SEM images exhibited that the particle size of the LiVPO4F powders synthesized is about 2.5μm. Electrochemical test showed that the initial discharge capacity of LiVPO4F powder was 131mAh g-1 at the rate of 0.1C with an average discharge voltage of 4.2V (vs.Li/Li+).
