Spectroscopic Assessment of Protein Conformational and Hydration Dynamics
【摘要】：Proteins are flexible and dynamic polymers, necessitating various motions that are required for function. However, experimental assessment of protein conformational dynamics, especially those underlying protein functions, is challenging. This is because a protein's conformational transition can occur either locally or globally and on a wide range of timescales. In this talk, we will discuss how different spectroscopic methods can be combined to overcome this difficulty, using the M2 proton channel of the Influenza A virus as an example.
