Synthesis and Structure of a One-Dimension Polymer[Mn_2Ni(pao)_2(N_3)_2(SIH)_2(H_2O)]_n

【摘要】:Metal-organic coordination polymers have drawn considerable interests in recent decades due to their fascinating structures and potential applications as functional materials~(1,2).Reaction of[Ni(paoH)_2Cl_2](paoH=pyridine-2-aldoxime)with Salicylaldehyde isonicotinoyl hydrazone(SIH)and NaN_3 in the presence of NEt_3 in MeOH/MeCN leads to a one-dimension polymer consisting of Mn_2Ni(pao)_2(N_3)_2(SIH)_2(H_2O)units.The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c.In each unit, the Ni atom is bridged to two Mn atoms via a pair of oximate N-O groups and N_3~-groups.The Ni atom has a slightly distorted octahedral geometry with the coordination environment defined by six N atoms from two chelating pao~ligands and two N_3~-ligands.Charge consideration,bond-valence sum(BVS)calculation, and the detection of Mn~ⅢJahn-Teller elongation axes indicate that both Mn ions are in the+3 oxidation state. Each Mn atom has a slightly distorted octahedral geometry with the equatorial plane defined by two O atom and one N atom of chelating SIH ligand as well as one O atom of oximate group. For Mn1,its apical positions are occupied by one N atom of N_3~-group and one water O atom. For Mn2,its apical positions are occupied by one N atom of N_3~-group and one N atom of SIH ligand from the neighbouring unit. Thus the trinuclear units are linked by SIH ligand to form a one-dimension polymer.
