The use of UAV high-resolution data, as a novel technique for terrestrial yardangs geomorphology study: a case in Qaidam Basin(NW China)
【摘要】：正Yardangs are wind-eroded ridges usually observed in the arid regions on Earth. Previous geomorphology studies on terrestrial yardang fields depended on satellite data and limited fieldwork. The geometry measurements of those yardangs made on the satellite data are limited to the length, the width and the spacing. There was no elevation related information involved due to the low-resolution digital elevation model (DEM) available.
