【摘要】：For the fish stock-enhancement and development on marine leisure industr y in Korean waters, five large-scale marine ranch programs were operated from 1998 to 2013 which was sponsored by Korea government(Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries). Among them, the first project(Tongyeong Marine ran ch) was conducted from 1998 to 2006(9 years) and institutions and local gov ernments involved KIOST, NFRDI(National Fisheries Research and Developme nt Institute), KMI(Korea Maritime Institute), Sangmyeong Univ., Daegu Univ., Kyeoungsangnam-do province and Tongyeong city. During the 9 years, ca.140 marine specialists participated in Tongyeong Marine ranching project. Marine r anching project requires tight collaboration among other sector of science and t echnology. Meanwhile, stock size of rockfish(Sebastes inermis) in Marine ranc h area increased from 118 ton(1998) to 749 ton(2007) and it increased ca. 1,500 at middle of 2010's. Developed techniques from Marine ranching have used for other coastal in dustry such as OWF(Offshore wind farm), Underwater marine park, etc. The model of 'co-location of OWF and Marine ranch'('Offshore Wind Fish Farm,OWFF') had tested for pilot scale in the South-west Offshore wind farm of Korea for 3 years(from 2014 to 2017) and plan the project for the industrial scale study with local fisheries men from the end on this year.
