Enhancing the electric fields around the nanorods by using metal grooves
【摘要】:正Recently,aligned silver nanorod arrays with a base layer have been prepared to obtain large SERS enhancements for biological or chemical detections.The absolute Raman intensity of BPE from this substrate is three orders of magnitude stronger than that form the nanorod array without the film.Since the enhanced electric fields contribute to the major part of the SERS intensity,there could be stronger electric fields around the nanorods in the rod-film substrates than those around the individual nanorods.
