Dynamics for two cavity QED systems coupled by an optical fiber
【摘要】：We discuss the one-excitation dynamics of two atomic qubits, trapped in separate cavities coupled through a short optical fiber. Previous studies of this system either focused on the case of exact resonance between the atoms and cavity fields, or restricted to the case where the detuning δ is much larger than the coupling constant g, or recurred to the adiabatic passage along dark states. Understanding of the dynamics properties in such a coupled cavity system over a large range of values of the atom-cavity detuning can help to gain more insight into the physical effects. Our investigation shows that a wide variety of time-evolution behaviors can be realized by modulating the atom-cavity detuning δ, the atom-cavity coupling strength g and the cavity-fiber hopping strength v.
