Load frequency control for power systems with wind turbine via active disturbance rejection
【摘要】:In recent years, with the increasing maturity of wind power technology, the proportion of wind power in the power system is increasing. However, wind power is random and unpredictable, thus it may cause a large range of frequency oscillation in the power grid. In order to ensure the stability of frequency and the safety of power supply, reducing the frequency oscillation and making the frequency quickly return to the set value is thus a critical work. This paper proposes to apply the linear active disturbance rejection control(LADRC) method to the load frequency control of power systems with wind turbine. A relay feedback method is proposed to tune the parameters of LADRC, and the initial parameter values of LADRC can be quickly obtained without detailed information of the plant. The method is applied to the load frequency control of IEEE 2-Area, 4-machine power system with wind turbine. Compared with the PI control strategy, the relay-tuned LADRC has better rejection disturbance performance, with smaller overshoot and shorter settling time.
