Numerical Analysis of Pulsatile Three-phase Fluid in Curved Vessel

【摘要】:This paper deals with the blood rheology of curved vessel in the case of blood pulsation.To obtain the blood rheology,a three-phase incompressible homogeneous Newtonian viscous fluid consisting of plasma,red blood cells and white blood cells is considered as a blood.Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) model of the three-phase blood is established.To observe the variations of the blood velocity and wall shear stress(WSS) and vascular pressure,the blood rheology of curved vessel is analyzed using FLUENT software under the unsteady condition.In curved vessel,the velocity of the blood and the wall shear stress of the medial wall are both more than the lateral wall.On the other hand,the vascular pressure of the medial wall is less than the lateral wall in the systole.Therefore,in cardiovascular surgery,the blood rheology at the bend should be considered especially.This paper provides references for the implementation of cardiovascular surgery,the prediction of cardiovascular surgical devices performance and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and cancer.
