Optimum temperature for the sensing characteristics of MSMA
【摘要】：Magnetically controlled shape memory alloy(MSMA) which has fast response, high energy density and other excellent characteristics, have a broad application prospects as a potential intelligent sensor materials. However, the unclear correlation between the environment temperature and the sensing characteristics limits the application of MSMA in the sensor field. According to the sensing characteristics of MSMA, through the real-time control of current and temperature in the experimental system, the experimental data such as compressive strains, stress and magnetic induction change of magnetic circuit in the bias magnetic field were recorded. Then, the optimum ambient temperature for the sensing characteristics of MSMA was proposed. The results show that the stress applied to the MSMA material can have a great influence on the magnetic induction intensity in the magnetic circuit at the op timum ambient temperature of 31℃. While the sensitivity of the sensing properties of MSMA depends on the magnitude of the change in the magnetic induction. Therefore, MSMA exhibits a high sensitivity at the optimum ambient temperature of 31℃.
