Establishing Pratacultural System—A Strategy for Rehabilitation of“Black Soil Type”Deteriorated Grassland on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau

【摘要】：正 The investigation for the distribution and causes of“Black Soil Type”deterioratedgrassland was carried out in 1995.It was estimated that the total area of“Black Soil Type”deteriorated grassland distributed in Qinghai,Gansu,Sichuan and Tibet of China covers 7,031,900ha.The main causes responsible for“Black Soil Type”deteriorated grassland are such as irrationalgrazing system,long-term overgrazing by livestock and damage by rodent.From the view ofgrassland ecosystem,a serious of measures should be taken for the rehabilitation of thedeteriorated area.These measures include the improvement of natural grassland,establishment ofsown pasture,adjustment of the herd and flock structure and encouragement of seasonal stockgrazing system.
