梅县客家话舌面声母之发音研究(英文)
【摘要】:This paper investigates the articulatory characteristics of the palatals[ch μ ],velars[k η]and palatalized velars[kj ηj]of a variety of Kejia(Hakka)Chinese,commonly known as Meixian Kejia and spoken mainly in the County of Meixian in the northeast of Guangdong Province,China.Articulatory data reveal that(i)[kjjη]are dorsal postalveolo-palatal or postlaminal alveolo-prepalatal;(ii)[]is dorsal prepalatal or dorsal palatal;(iii)[kjjη]are posterodorsal velar;(iv)the effects of palatalization on [k] and [η] differ,with[kj] becomingslightly fronted,accompanied by a forward extension of side-to-side lateral contact from the occlusion on the soft palate,and with[ηj]turning into a palatal[μ];(v)the effect of a postconsonantal vowel[i]on[]is that[] becomes more palatal;and(vi)Mexian Kejia shares with Czech,Hungarian, and Russian some general patterns of linguopalatal contact duringthe dorsal consonants.
