Evaluation of the protein expression level of PINA and agronomic performance of transgenic wheat lines(Triticum turgidum L.var.durum)over-expressing puroindoline a gene

【摘要】:正The hardness or texture of cereal grains is a primary determinant of their technological and processing quality. Two starch-granule surface associated proteins,puroindoline A and B(PINA and PINB),have been shown to play an important role in determining wheat grain hardness.We have produced several transgenic wheat lines overexpressing puroindoline A(PinA) gene in a tetraploid wheat(Triticum turgidum L.var.durum cvs.Luna).
